The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supply Superintendent, the Supervisor Materials & Logistics will provide strategic leadership to site logistics personnel in order to achieve maximum benefit to MinRes. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day supply & Logistics function on the operation.
This is a FIFO role on an 8:6 Roster at Bald Hill.
What is required?
- Strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with Company’s policies and vision
- Ensuring safety of the team and others within the supply area, is of the highest priority. This includes but not limited to risk awareness, hazard identification, implementing control measures and completing take time’s, JHA’s, SWI’s, CCI’s, stop-work or toolbox meetings
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and assist with stakeholder coordination
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers and transport companies through good communication channels
- Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise performance of the team
- Ensure all MHE is operated according to requirements by authorised personnel only
