The opportunity

We have an exciting new opportunity available at our Cheltenham, VIC Head Office for a Master Data Specialist. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will lead, assist, and manage daily Master Data activities for all divisions, including customer, vendor, and item Master Data records in the ERP system (SAP B1).

With a strong focus on risk management, compliance and controls, this role will provide Master Data support to the business, including assisting the team with BAU processing of Master Data requests and handling escalations where needed.

You will contribute to the business’ success by:

• Maintaining vendor, item, and customer Master Data by receiving, reviewing, confirming, and processing requests to create or modify Master Data details
• In collaboration with the Finance Manager embed Master Data Governance framework within Parnham Group and drive compliance, data integrity and standardisation
• Participating in continuous improvement and data quality initiatives and process reviews, including the regular audit of Data and its use in the organisation.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide Operational Readiness Master Data readiness in an accurate and timely manner.
• Coaching and developing others to support a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with relevant Master Data governance / procedures

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;

• Master Data experience ESSENTIAL and SAP B1 Master Data experience desirable. 
• Highly detail-oriented thinking and proven accuracy with excellent organisational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise tasks and provide a professional customer service experience for internal stakeholders
• Experience and understanding of integration technologies and methodologies
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams
• Experience in process improvement and process re-design with a focus on improving existing data management processes highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and high levels of attention to detail.
• Highly proficient excel skills to manipulate, analyse and report data including Power BI
• Experience and knowledge of bulk data transfer tools.
