The Opportunity & Position

An exciting and challenging opportunity now exists for an experienced and customer- centric Inventory Demand Planner & MaterialsData Master to join our Melbourne based team.

For this business-critical position, we are looking for someone who is motivated, detail orientated and methodical thinker who enjoys working in a highly collaborative and fast paced environment.

Reporting to the Inventory Control & Logistics Manager, in this job you will be responsible for : - 

  • Ownership of Demand Planning portfolio 
  • Procurement of overseas and local inventory
  • Ownership and optimisation of inventory levels
  • Accurately maintain system forecasts
  • Analysing demand patterns and adjust forecasts to minimize excess inventory
  • Assist with Stock Takes
  • Deliver monthly reports and analysis on supply chain activities
  • Follow up orders placed to ensure on time delivery 
  • Identify inventory gaps or deficiencies
  • Maintenance of SAP planning master data
  • Identify continuous improvement supply chain initiatives

  • Ability to manage a challenging workload and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Excel in meeting deadlines with excellent coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • The ability to be a successful team player
  • Able to work autonomously.
