About the Role
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Reporting to: National Construction manager
Location: QLD - Fortitude Valley & Banyo
We are currently seeking a dedicated project Material Planner to be responsible for the coordination of site specific material. They will act as a central point of contact from Project Team (Project Engineers) and SSM Warehouse and occasionally the client to ensure the successful delivery of site specific materials as per agreed schedule.
Key Responsibilities

• Be the interface between the build team (Project engineers) and other stakeholders – Client NBN (operational level – back order support) – SSM Warehouse
• Responsible to monitor and track site material orders based on a pre determined required date
• Manage of backorder with SSM warehouse and nbn Client operation team
• Coordinate and manage the delivery of site/s materials from SSM warehouse to Contractors warehouse on a regular basis (monitor and discrepancies and report back to SSM warehouse)
• Provide general reporting of site materials at any given time ie: Site/Material location/backorders/material faults etc etc
• Support SSM warehouse team with faulty/material returns
