As a Materials & Process Engineer, you will work closely with your team of eight, focusing on the front end of the process and raw materials, reporting to the Production Manager. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will strive to drive operational improvements and a quality focus. Leading by example, you can set standards for the team;
- Ensuring safe work methods are followed.
- Ensure production schedules are met and communicate with your team.
- Work on fostering a culture of continuous improvement (safety, cost, delivery).
- Focusing on quality
You will be a proactive person, solution orientated and innovative in response to challenges. Degree qualified in chemical or mechanical engineering or science fields, with a minimum of three to five years in a manufacturing environment such as plastics, packaging or building products, you will be confident in your decision making ability.
