Job description

A leader in Australian manufacturing and supply of pipeline systems and solutions, this iconic business supply’s products across industries such as building and infrastructure, agricultural and rural, mining and industrial/manufacturing and energy applications. With the backing of a global parent company, the business is innovative and focused on continuous improvement.

As a Materials & Process Engineer, you will work closely with your team of eight, focusing on the front end of the process and raw materials, reporting to the Production Manager. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will strive to drive operational improvements and a quality focus. Leading by example, you can set standards for the team; 

  • Ensuring safe work methods are followed.
  • Ensure production schedules are met and communicate with your team.
  • Work on fostering a culture of continuous improvement (safety, cost, delivery).
  • Focusing on quality

You will be a proactive person, solution orientated and innovative in response to challenges. Degree qualified in chemical or mechanical engineering or science fields, with a minimum of three to five years in a manufacturing environment such as plastics, packaging or building products, you will be confident in your decision making ability.
