Bayer's new way of working, DSO (Dynamic Shared Ownership), gives greater decision making across the business and this position plays a key role in identifying and delivering the vision for the Site in the near and long term.
This role based at our site in Pinkenba, Brisbane and will work Monday-Friday, 8-4 pm, with some flexibility.
Do something that moves you.The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for delivering improvements to the Bayer Pinkenba Sites' systems, processes, equipment and infrastructure as part of the Engineering & Integrity Team.
- Identify, lead and drive improvement initiatives via Project Management of Capital Investment projects or other management of change processes, utilising internal and external skillsets.
- Ensure Engineering Integrity is upheld in various disciplines to meet local and site regulations and requirements
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve efficiencies and quality of output in in respects to equipment and processes
- Problem Solving of equipment issues with implementation of CAPAs (Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions)
- Develop or evolve and optimise maintenance practices, working within SAP HANA and GE APM systems
- Assess processes, identify measurement points and interpret data to drive decision making
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:
- Hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, Production, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Process Control
- Substantial post grad experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Have full working rights for Australia
- Project Management experience
- SAP HANA experience – Desired
- Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience, ideally GE APM - Desired
- Reliability Engineering experience - Desired
- CAD or AutoCad skills - Desired
- Excellent technical skills and an analytical thinker
- Proven drive to self-organise and motivate, identifying and prioritising tasks to work on with stakeholders
- Agile Leadership, through Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coaching attributes
- Innovative Thinking: Encouraging and implementing new ideas and approaches through consultation with stakeholders
- Adaptability: Being flexible and open to change
- Curiosity: Desire to learn and continuously improve
