Marcellin College, a leading Catholic boy's school, presents an opportunity for a Mathematics Teacher to join our team on a full-time or part time Fixed Term basis.
We are seeking an experienced, engaging and suitably qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team, teaching Year 7 through to Year 10. Graduate teacher applications also accepted.
Key Success Factors
As a member of our Mathematics Team, you will be an experienced Mathematics Educator who has a demonstrated commitment to educating and inspiring students in this discipline. Additionally, you will have the ability to create learning environments that ensure the highest standard in the delivery of our academic Mathematics program.
You will be someone who is able to model excellent teaching practices while building the capabilities of our learners through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
The ability to develop inclusive and supportive learning environments, foster positive relationships and communicate with staff, students, and parents in a timely and respectful manner is essential to the role.
To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in your specialist teaching area as well as:
- A willingness to uphold the vision and values of Marcellin College
- Role model and inspire a passion for Mathematics in all students
- An understanding of contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies
- A commitment to working collaboratively as a part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- An ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement
- A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students
- Current VIT Registration
