We are seeking a dedicated and engaging a Math's and Religious Education Teacher, to join our team commencing at the beginning of Term 3.
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Math's and Religious Education to Year 7 to Year 10 students. The successful applicant will be committed to maximizing the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence and the Catholic faith.
Essential Selection Criteria
- A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
- Ability to teach Math's & Religious Education to senior school students.
- Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
- Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
- Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students in a modern learning environment.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organizational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
- Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity, Industrial Democracy and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Current TRBWA membership
- Current Working with Children Card
