About the Role
Workpac Recruitment are currently seeking an MC Driver for a well known company in Perth. You will be required to drive a Double Tanker Combo moving Asphalt around WA. Working minimum 12 hour days, on a 2:1 Roster. This is ongoing work with the potential of going perm with the client after 3 months.
Duties Include:
Mobile batching plant set-up, calibration, pack up and mobilisation.
Daily plant maintenance and reporting of issues to the TM.
Running the plant to the required mix design.
Ensuring the plant has enough materials to complete the project (aggregates, bitumen and diesel).
Monitoring the asphalt being loaded into the trucks, including calculating truck loading times and controlling truck loading at the plant.
Issuing trucks with daily start times based on production requirements.
Completing and issuing production dockets.
Taking bitumen and diesel dips.
Completing the plant operations summary daily.
Experience/tickets required
HC drivers license
White Card
Proven experience in dangerous goods cartage
Be self-managed, reliable, motivated and driven
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (includes fitness test) and drug screen.
Must be able to work on a flexible roster and away from home.
Must be able to tolerate warm conditions up north.
Must have a hard working, can do attitude and ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
