Our operations extend from Port Hedland to Wonmunna, Iron Valley to Utah Point and Onslow through to Kens Bore carrying Western Australian biggest commodity Iron Ore. If you enjoy long-haul driving, combined with the beautiful scenery of the outback, this might be the perfect job for you!To be a successful applicant and join our team, you must be willing and able to treat our equipment with care and respect, think on your feet, maintain attention to detail, hold a high regard for safety and positively follow instructions.Operating a fleet of quad, super, ultra and tetra configuration side tippers, you will hold a mechanical aptitude, and;Transport bulk product as directed.
Complete Pre-Start Inspections for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Plan routes and meet timely schedules.
Document accurate information on log sheets, consignment notes and other paperwork as required.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as all company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Report defects, accidents, or violations.
Maintain truck cleanliness and comply with hygiene requirements.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years' experience working with triple or quad road trains.
Hold a current and active:
MC Licence
Fatigue management Certificate for Professional Drivers
National Police Clearance and Traffic Infringement Notice (no more than 6 months old)
Dangerous Good Licence (desirable)
MSIC Licence (desirable)
Display a positive attitude and outlook within the workplace.
Exert a flexible, collaborative and reliable approach.
