Our client is an established dynamic South Australian family-owned business supplying potatoes and onions for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally. The business is experiencing high growth and provides a perfect opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual to take on new challenges within their business.

The role

As an MC Driver, you will be responsible for the transportation of produce and machinery.

Your Tasks

• Manoeuvre vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• Load and unload using lifting and tipping devices
• Regularly check, adjust and safely operate vehicles
• Ensure load is correctly stored to prevent loss or damage
• Ensure weight and distribution limits are correctly applied
• Perform minor service and repairs to vehicles
• Maintain workplace, health and safety operating standards and to adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

To be successful you must have the following:

• Impeccable driving record
• Hold a current HC licence, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of transport compliance regulations
• Sound understanding of load restraint, including chains
• Two checkable references
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Hold a current forklift licence, or equivalent
• You will be a team player that has excellent communication skills
