MC Licenced drivers are invited to apply for an opportunity to operate B-doubles to transport cattle in the North, Central and South Burnett regions.
Because of the diversity of the geographic locations serviced, applicants based anywhere in the Childers, Biggenden, Gayndah Mundubbera or Kingaroy areas are encouraged to apply.
What the Position Offers:
- Flexibility regarding home base – anywhere in the Childers, Biggenden, Gayndah, Mundubbera or Kingaroy areas.
- Operating a fleet of modern American model trucks (Kenworth, Western Star and Mack)
- Trucks fitted with TV, microwave, fridge, truckphone and icepacks.
- Rosters available for regular shifts OR 7 on / 7 off shifts (open for discussion)
- Pay rate - with expectations of $38.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on skills and experience (higher on Sundays and public holidays)
- Above Award permanent positions will be offered to suitable applicants after a trial period.

With their expansion into the North and Central Burnett they now have on the road a fleet of 22 heavy vehicles and trailers supported by a staff of 40.
The Duties:
Duties will include:
- B-Double operation to transport cattle.
- Pre-start machinery checks.
- Loading and unloading animals.
- Washing out trailers.
- MC driver licence.
- B-Double driving experience.
- Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation or the willingness to acquire.
- A clean driving record.
- Good people skills with the ability to communicate well.
- The ability to operate autonomously and follow the planned schedule.
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol testing.
- The proven ability to work within site Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
- Livestock handling and transport experience.
- Truck parking arrangements at home if NOT based out of the Depot facilities in Biggenden or Kingaroy.
