Multiquip Poultry is a National Company that is dedicated to servicing the Stock Feed Industry in Australia. We are a key supply of feed and grain in all states of Australia, with a new operation opening up for us in Toowoomba.
Multiquip currently have an exciting opportunity for casual positions with the potential for full-time permanent roles for skilled and dependable drivers specialising in Feed Deliveries.
As a safety-conscious company, Multiquip is actively seeking MC Road ranger Drivers with knowledge in farming and a solid understanding of the surrounding regions, operating from our Drayton depot Toowoomba .
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting feed to various farms within a 1000km radius in the Southwest Queensland region.
- Start times between 5am and 7am, Monday to Friday and occasional overnight trips required with flexibility for working some Saturdays.
- Ensuring safety protocols and procedures are consistently adhered to during transportation activities.
- Safely operating and maintaining vehicles for the transportation of stock feed to various destinations.
- Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations while operating heavy vehicles, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
- Loading and unloading of goods, guaranteeing proper securement and adherence to WHS and NHVR guidelines.
- Efficiently loading and unloading feed products, ensuring meticulous handling and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Strategically planning and optimising delivery routes to guarantee timely and cost-effective deliveries while upholding compliance with NHVR and company policies.
- Performing regular checks & pre-starts on heavy vehicles and reporting any identified issues to the relevant department.
About you:
- Currently hold a HC Licence.
- Experience with Road ranger transmission preferred.
- Provide a recent driving record (no later than 3months old).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility.
- Experience using logbook/EWD work diary.
- Understanding of basic fatigue management and mass management guidelines.
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Self motivated to ensure customer satisfaction
- Must have solid experience with driving heavy vehicles including reversing
- Strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills.
