About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Meat Department Manager to join our Spudshed team located at Joondalup, WA!
As a Meat Department Manager, you will be able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as having excellent leadership skills to train and develop a new team.
Our aim is to make our Customers and Employees experience at Spudshed a welcoming and engaging one!
Responsibilities:
Department Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Meet rostering requirements, daily sales targets and expense controls
- Monitoring quality control, wastage and shrinkage. Bringing awareness to your team about seasonal environmental or current quality related issues within the department
- Stock management, checking deliveries to ensure store requirements are fulfilled
- Pro-actively meeting, improving and engaging your team on store presentation standards
- Supporting our customers’ needs though excellent service
- Support Dairy/Freezer department as required
About you:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability
- Butcher trade not required but desirable
- Physically fit - regular heavy lifting/bending
- Strong analytical and problem solving
- Strong leadership skills
