AddressBased in Campbellfield, Victoria, our client is one of Australia’s leading fully integrated beef, buffalo, and camel meat processing company.
We are looking for an experienced Meat Inspector to join our group quality assurance team within a red meat processing environment.
About you:
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for the following:
• Have a thorough understanding of the companies Q.A. procedures, Australian Export controls and their implementation
• Ability to work autonomously
• Inspection of carcasses and trimming to specific hygiene requirements.
• Report and record all relevant data
• Provide support for our team members and meat export standards
• Liaise with Management in regards to any quality control issues
• Continuously monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance
• Liaise with internal stake holders in production
• Provide accurate and timely data
Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Meat Processing facility
• Be familiar with specific cuts and have good knife skills
• Knowledge of HACCP and export standards preferable
• Be open to working with a diverse cultural workforce
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 per annum + super. depending on skills, experience and qualifications.
