As a leading supplier to the Dubbo and Central West region Wilga Meats Wholesale Butchery have traded for over two decades. Wilga Meats offer a permanent supply of carcass form or portion-controlled fresh meat and meat products prepared in our wholesale facility. Whilst smoking and curing is one of our specialties, we also deliver our wholesale produce to butchery shops, restaurants, aged care, cafes, clubs and pubs.
The Role
The Provedores and Wilga Meats are looking for an all rounder who must be physically fit and able to handle manual labour.
- Available Hours Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday's)
- Fulltime position
- Shifts within the range of 3:30am - 12.00pm
- Attractive above award wage
Key responsibilities include
- Provide accurate picking/packing and stock handling skills
- Receive stock from customers/suppliers and make sure that the inward goods are checked off accordingly
- General warehouse duties as directed
- Some local deliveries in company vehicle is required
- Provide support to butcher team in processing goods
- Operating equipment
- Knowledge and adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.
- Work within food safety regulations, including HACCP standards.
