Meat Stripping Workers

Farm Foods manufacture gourmet BBQ meat products for major retailers, with a high focus on quality. 

We have positions available in our Meat Stripping Room. These team members are the first point of food safety, ensuring that the first part of our production process starts smoothly and safely. We provide a great work environment to grow and develop within our business with a clear progression pathway.  

Working within a team you will be processing protein cuts such as chicken, pork, beef and lamb to maintain our impeccable quality and food safety standards, preparing them for the mincing process.

The factory is refrigerated, so ability to work in colder temperatures is required for successful applicants

Full training is provided, so you don’t need experience to apply!

We are seeking staff for:

*Our afternoon team, working from 12:30pm - 9:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays during busy periods. 

Especially during our upcoming peak production season, overtime is available to ensure our production requirements are met. 

Duties will include;

• Perform product handling, including lifting, pushing and pulling
• Loading and weighing tubs of product
• Knife handling
• Complete verification paperwork
• Adhere to quality and OH&S procedures
• Clean and wash down equipment
• Quality check products
• General housekeeping

• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards

Applicants must be willing to comply with Quality and Food Safety Standards.

Successful Applicants will be required to undertake a Medical Assessment and provide a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate with minimum of 3 doses.
