- Deliver a customer focused service that considers stakeholder needs in all processes and practices and in accordance with organisational expectations.
- Assist students with locating, booking and using library resources and equipment.
- Provide assistance and advice to student cohort, staff and the general public face-to-face, via phone (inbound and outbound), via email, social media channels and via live-chat on matters relating to library services, student lifecycle and general enquiries.
- Provide authoritative advice to staff, students, and members of the general public on matters relating to library services and student administration matters.
- Ensure that student records are accurate at all times including ensuring they have applied for and met all government requirements and discounts.
- Effective and accurate student administration processing related to the student lifecycle (e.g. enrolments, timetables, amendments, fee and library payments, generation of student identity cards etc.).
- Fee calculations and fees and library payments processing including associated reconciliation processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- General knowledge and experience of tertiary sector operating procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members or independently.
- Excellent communication skills for assisting customers face-to-face, via phone, email, social media, and live-chat.
- Providing authoritative advice on library services and student administration matters.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate student records and administration processing.
