Position Description
- Servicing, repairs and maintenance of mobile plant and equipment.
- Inspections, diagnosis of equipment faults within electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Working with diesel engines, transmissions, axles, undercarriage and diesel powered hydraulic equipment.
- Carrying out general workshop operations and duties.
- Attending breakdowns and on-site servicing (field service positions).
- Interacting with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Follow company policies & procedures in relation to paperwork and safety requirements.
- Produce quality workmanship within a reasonable timeframe.
Candidate Requirements
- Trade qualified Cert III Mechanic, Diesel Fitter.
- Experience working on Diesel powered machinery, equipment or vehicles.
- Experience working with mobile equipment and hydraulic systems, if not, the willingness to learn these skills.
- Developed time-management and communication skills.
- A helpful attitude and positive outlook.
- Someone who takes pride in their work, and wants to develop further.
- Driver’s Licence.

The starting rates range from $43-$45per hour plus Super, Overtime at penalty rates, Training, a Fully maintained company vehicle, phone for Field Service roles.
