SalaryWe currently have a position vacancy in Central Bendigo for a Mechanic/Maintenance person at Bendigo Woollen Mills. We are an iconic Australian manufacturer of fine yarns for crafters all around the world, producing tonnes of yarn every week using wool from Australian farmers. This is a full time position Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm, flexible hours could be available to the right candidate.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
This role includes mechanical repairs to a range of machinery. You would also have the ability to prioritise workloads: breakdown repairs to minimise the impact on production, preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of machinery.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Experience in repairing and maintaining equipment, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Reliability, punctuality and a good work ethic
- Attention to detail essential
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A forklift licence would be an advantage
- Ability to work and adhere to OH&S Standards.
