The Opportunity
Contribute to the safe running of our Shepparton site, ensuring it can run efficiently by conducting all site maintenance services. As a specialist within your field, you will support the operations by training the site reliability and operations teams.
- Take a pro-active approach to site mechanical maintenance to ensure production can operate safely and efficiently, including root cause analysis, performing fault finding and diagnostics.
- Ensure stoppages, performance issues and/or breakdowns are rectified in a safely and timely.
- Perform routine checks, inspections and preventative works.
- Provide parts list or BOM for follow-up, rectification and issue elimination works.
- Review inventory requirements.
What you’ll bring
- Mechanical Fitter preferably within an FMCG environment or similar.
- Certificate ||| in Engineering or Mechanical trade.
- Ability to read OEM manuals, plans, PID’s to understand equipment service requirements.
- Specialised skills within one or more equipment types – UHT’s, homogenizers, separators, heat exchangers and UHT filling/packing systems, pumps and valves.
