They are currently seeking both qualified Automotive Mechanics and skilled Mechanical Trade Assistants to join their dynamic team at a leading Bus Manufacturer in Edinburgh. As part of this team, you'll be instrumental in the assembly of new buses, utilising your expertise and hands-on experience to contribute to the future of transportation.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Executing mechanical assembly tasks according to established guidelines and specifications.
- Applying your mechanical expertise to ensure precise and efficient bus assembly.
- Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues promptly, utilising your mechanical skills.
- Utilising power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks, alongside the team.
- Collaborating closely to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
Requirements for the role:
- For Automotive Mechanics: Qualified with experience in automotive mechanical systems.
- For Mechanical Trade Assistants: Hands-on experience with mechanical tasks and processes.
- Competency in using power tools, including hand tools and pneumatic tools.
- A strong work history demonstrating reliability and experience.
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Criminal Check.
- An enthusiastic and positive work attitude, committed to contributing to a team environment.
