Role Details:
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the effective coordination and supervision of all fixed maintenance related issues on gold processing facility to enable achievement of budgeted production targets, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety, and environment.

This is offered on a 10 hr 5 2 4 3 roster and would require the incumbent to be residential in Kambanda or Kalgoorlie.

Duties of the role:
- Manage, Lead and motivate a close team of maintenance staff and contractors through daily and forwarded looking fixed plant maintenance activities.
- Ensure organisational capability through quality, compliance to work management, monitoring reliability, availability, and cost management of all assets.
- Ensure the activities of the maintenance team are consistently aligned with the goal of meeting operational requirements.
- Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing maintenance orders.
- Identifying potential breakdown of plant to minimize interruption to operations and plan works accordingly.
- Monitor maintenance activities, review historical events, collect store, and analyze relevant data.
- Root cause analysis of premature failures and incident investigations
- Assist with development, implementation and monitoring of new maintenance procedures, processes, and technology.
- Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for direct reports through effective use of the Performance Management System.
- Coordination and interaction with various departments to ensure seamless communication.
About You:
You will have:
- Recognised Trade Qualification with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position within a mining environment, including vendor management, performance development and contractor management.
- Exposure to maintenance planning or asset management fundamentals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and develop a planned maintenance culture.
- Experience in using AMT, SAP, INX, Excel programs and exposure in ICAM investigation practices.
- Valid driver's licence
- Demonstration of working in a proactive planned maintenance environment with a drive for Reliability Centred Maintenance
