Paediatric Dermatologist
Location: Queensland Children's Hospital, Brisbane, Queensland
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Dermatologist to join our growing team of dermatologists, nurse practitioners, registrars and clinical nurses. Here are the details:
Position Overview:
* Role: Paediatric Dermatologist
* Employment Type: Up to 0.5 FTE (32 hours per fortnight VMO/40 hours per fortnight SMO) temporary
* Positions Available:
* Clinical Lead Dermatologist
* General Dermatologists
* VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) Positions:
* Requirement to demonstrate ongoing private practice costs
* Alternative SMO employment options
* Team Focus:
* Join our established paediatric dermatology team
* Provide tertiary-level care to patients aged 0 to 16 years from across Queensland
Qualifications and Experience:
* Board-certified or eligible in Dermatology
* Passion for paediatric dermatology
* Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based practice
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and manage dermatological conditions in children and adolescents
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
* Contribute to teaching and training initiatives
* Participate in research and quality improvement projects
