About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth across our business, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Wallsend NSW 2287.

Your responsibilities in this role will include;
- Mechanical, Hydraulic and controls application engineering
- Detailed calculation – Stress & Fatigue Analysis, Thermo Dynamics
- Providing technical support for our diverse branch network
- Analyse and apply technology into engineering projects
- Onsite commissioning and fault-finding
- Conducting design reviews and preparing engineering reports
- Creating GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, hydraulic schematics, technical specifications and datasheets
- Reviewing tender documents and preparing submissions and quotations
- Managing projects from start to finish ensuring specifications, project milestones and budget requirements are met.
About You
- A Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Controls Engineering
- Suits experienced Engineering Trade, Engineering associate or Engineering Technologist
- 2 years previous experience in a design or engineering role or has recently completed a Graduate role
- Sound knowledge of fluid power principles, applications, components, system design and development processes
- Hands on/ Practical 3D CAD design experience using SolidWorks or SolidEdge
- Experience in FEA and engineering calculations.
