Our client is focused on designing, manufacturing and implementing technologies to automate processes They develop robotic systems for various industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, logistics, and more.
They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer experienced in automation industry and manufacturing bespoke products with the focus on robotics. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced systems for numerous industries.
Technical qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering in automation industry (essential!)
- At least bachelor's degree in in Mechanical Engineering or a related field,
- Proven experience with designing and implementing automation systems,
- Hands-on experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD,
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication techniques,
- Must have full unrestricted Australian working rights,
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Effective written and oral communication
- Capable of working in a team
- High level of attention to detail,
- Proven track record of meeting project deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations including AS4024 and AS4991

- Performing analysis and simulations,
- Generating 3D models,
- Engaging with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success,
- Playing a role in advancing automation solutions through development,
