The Person and Qualification
- Highly motivated Mechanical/Project Engineer in the field of Automation.
- Work with a growing company and dynamic team. Be thoroughly committed, highly reliable and self motivated.
- Minimum 5 Years’ Experience
- Strong experience with Machinery design, and Managing Projects.
- Strong experience with Autocad/Inventor
- Strong experience with Autocad Electrical and Pneumatics drawings
- Strong experience in Research and Development
- Mechatronics Engineers with Mechanical design experience highly regarded.
- Knowledge with Motion control highly regarded
- Knowledge PLC programming highly regarded.
- Strong communication and writing skills a must.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Design Automation machinery for production.
- Processing Engineering drawings to shop floor and managing projects.
- Improving product design and and drawing.
- Perform risk assessment to AS4024
- Develop and Perform QA on equipment to ensure it meets customers’ expectations
- Liaise with clients
- Manage Projects to ensure projects are delivered to specification within quoted timeframe
- Apply hands on skills in the workshop.
- Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Travel to site for installation, training and commissioning locally and interstate
- Manage spare parts and warehouse inventory
- Attend trade shows with our team
