Mechanical Drafter Autocad

Due to our continued growth through 2024 and beyond, Australian Drafting & Design Pty Ltd  seeking an experienced  Mechanical Drafter to join our team in the Western suburbs of Sydney .

Reporting to the Design Manager, your primary responsibility will be the production of Mechanical design drawings using AutoCAD 

What we’re after

• Proficiency to produce Mechanical design drawings in a timely manner using AutoCAD.
• Ability to work with engineers to ensure all deliverables and design criteria are met in accordance with the project expectations.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed drawings for engineering projects in accordance with project technical specifications and standards.
• Ensure design drawings are completed on time, and are of high quality.
• End to end design; from initial concept drawings to completing as built drawings.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an AutoCAD drafter
• AutoCAD certification or similar drafting software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Previous experience with Design and Drafting of tanks.

This is a long term contract position which can lead to a full time role.  Training will be provided
