The Role
Based in our Head Office at Carole Park, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Operations team. This role will work alongside our team of engineers and be primarily involved in product design and evaluation, including liaising with suppliers, producing bill of materials and costing. You will also be involved in improvement projects and technical problem solving.
This opportunity is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer in the early stages of their career who is looking to develop and get hands on experience that will help build his/her career. You will ideally be someone with some experience in an ISO9001 certified manufacturing environment.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor degree qualification in Engineering fields (Mechanical or Industrial)
- Competency in using CAD package for modelling and drawing
- Competency in operation of testing and measuring equipment and tools – electrical and mechanical
- Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to lift or handle batteries weighing 20+kg
- A strong willingness to learn and grasp new concepts and skills
