We improve their agility and resilience and identify opportunities to optimise their technology usage. We also accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, by implementing vendor solutions as well as Deloitte-developed software solutions and tools.What will your typical day look like?As the Test Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire Quality Assurance domain's delivery. Collaborating with dedicated teams across cross-functional programs, you'll ensure timely delivery of agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables, guaranteeing high-quality implementation that aligns with our clients' business objectives.Required interpersonal skills/experience

• You'll prioritize software and systems quality from both technical and business perspectives and drive relentless improvement with a sharp business acumen.
• Your experience includes:

• Building and leading high-performance teams.
• Managing test programs on large-scale, multi-vendor projects, ensuring common outcomes.
• Using Jira and/or Azure DevOps for test coverage and traceability.
• You have expertise in:

• Agile at scale and agile transformations.
• Test automation, Non-Functional Testing, and Systems Monitoring.
• Estimating effort in Waterfall and Agile engagements.
• Release Management in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Modern Testing and Software Engineering principles with a focus on data-driven transparency.
• Your positive attitude and negotiation skills enable you to navigate difficult situations effectively.
• You are open to travel to Canberra, Sydney, or Melbourne as needed.

Required role specific skills/experience

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all test activities across relevant phases.
• Develop a comprehensive test process and strategy, selecting suitable methods and tools.
• Proactively manage customer needs and expectations throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the Testing Team for effective performance and growth.
• Implement processes to ensure the delivery of fully tested solutions meeting specified requirements.
• Manage end-to-end testing lifecycle within the Program, including planning, execution, and defect management.
• Develop test plans to mitigate system quality risks, outlining tasks, dependencies, and participants.
• Oversee Defect Management, including retesting defects until resolution and acceptance.
• Identify and address defects/bugs across the program to prevent their release.
• Generate comprehensive testing reports and metrics, providing real-time status updates to stakeholders.
• Apply Deloitte's methodologies and contribute to QA practice capabilities within the Consulting practice.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members for professional development and growth.
