ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Your key responsibilities and tasks will include:

• .      Analysing and identifying issues and project workflow.
• .      Review plans, drawings, and product data to ensure accuracy of the design.
• .      Project design and support during the testing and implementation phases.
• .      Managing and preparing design and compliance dossier.
• .      Support to project designs and review.
• .      Liaising with the different departments and stake holders involved on the product development.
• .      Review accuracy of bill of material and support issue resolution with the supplier and procurement.
• .      Technical support to existing and new client base
• .    - Testing the efficiency of proposed models in accordance with Australian and New Zealand standards, and modifying (if required) to implement a more compliant, cost-effective, and efficient model to the initially proposed design.

REQUIREMENTS:

-        Relevant Bachelor level degree or higher.

-        At least 2 years of relevant work experience   

-        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Salary for the role is $80,000 – $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus superannuation.
