Air Change is a leading manufacturer of dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS) for pre-conditioning building ventilation air with an emphasis on heat & energy recovery to save power consumption. These units can vary from general ventilation applications to systems that maintain precise humidity and temperature in an occupied space.
Air Change have sales and support offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with distributors in South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and New Zealand.
We are seeking the immediate appointment of a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, preferably with 1-3 years' experience in the building services industry in either sales, consulting or contracting to prepare sales quotations and provide technical support for the Company’s products.
The Queensland office is located in Woolloongabba, Brisbane and the position will operate from that location with occasional training in the Sydney Head Office.
This role is a full-time position and will encompass all aspects of engineering and technical product support including:
- Analysing project requirements and specifications:
- Providing technical information, product selection and design assistance to consulting engineers and contractors;
- Product pricing and preparation of quotations;
- Processing orders upon receipt;
- Technical advice for clients and contractors;
- On site commissioning and warranty support;
- Technical presentations to consultant engineers and contractors; and
- Attending industry trade shows with other company personnel.
The successful applicant should have excellent written and verbal communication ability and reasonable computer skills. The applicant will preferably have a knowledge of HVAC systems and be already residing in Brisbane.
