Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings in solid format that are used in the design & manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience minimum 5 years in Mechanical drafting and design, as well as knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Create technical drawings and plans for production processes (experience with Solidworks is a must)
• Collaborate with engineering and Production team other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
• Review and revise drawings as necessary to meet project requirements
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on technical feasibility and manufacturability
• Assist in the development of new products and processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Mech Eng. , drafting, design, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting and design
• Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Revit a must
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• MUST have Knowledge of Sheet metal manufacturing ,Machining and 3D printing processes and materials
