LiftQuip Australia The Mechanical Engineering Technician will report directly to the Technical Services Supervisor, playing a crucial role in the warehouse workshop and onsite functions of the business. Task & Responsibilities Visual inspection and testing of various lifting equipment to ensure compliance with relevant standards erect equipment on-site, including height safety systems, safety nets and gantry cranes conduct inspections and tests of mechanical systems, including mobile and overhead cranes, including the recording and analysing of results studying drawings to determine manufacturing tolerances of various lifting equipment fitting and assembly of subassemblies equipment parts Qualification & Experience Engineering qualifications preferred. 2-3 years of working experience with crane and other mechanical systems. Excellent communication, time management, and computer skills.
High standard of work ethic and verbal skills. Current Driver's Licence and High Risk licenses preferred (Forklift, Dogging, Working at Heights, Whitecard).
