We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Fitter, to be based in the Townsville Area. Our client is one of the Mining Giant's at the Port of Townsville.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:
- Must be a Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Must have proven experience in this trade
- Heavy Industry experience with conveyor systems, Hydraulic experience and welding ability.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A test
- Positive attitude towards safety
Your new role will consist of a range of duties including but not limited to:
- Fix breakdowns and diagnostic works
- Working on conveyor systems and hydraulics on all machines and equipment + welding
- Carry out duties in a safe manner in accordance with all business policies, regulations and procedures and the Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Act
- Supporting team members by assisting with any other relevant duties
