Are you a Motivated Mechanical Fitter and Turner looking for a new and exciting opportunity. 

About Us: EMR QLD is a leading mechanical engineering company that specializes in pumps , Electric motors and Gearbox repairs. We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the installation, maintenance and repair of pumps and pumping infrastructure.

Role: Fitter and Turner

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of pumps and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on pumps , gearboxes and electric motors .
• Assemble and disassemble rotating elements for repair or replacement of parts.
• Conduct troubleshooting and provide solutions to technical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects according to specifications and deadlines.
• Custom fabrication 
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong knowledge of pump systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
• Valid manual driver's license 

Advantageous( Not Essential )

• Pump ,Gearbox and Electric motor repair experience 
• Restricted electrical licence 
• Confined space 
• Working at heights 
• Forklift licence 
• Hep A & B
