Mechanical Fitter (Day Shift & Night Shift Available)

An opportunity has arisen for 2 Mechanical Fitters to join the Opal Fibre Spearwood site reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor.

The role will be responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance support of machinery, equipment, site and services to achieve optimum production and customer service.

In addition to all aspects of mechanical maintenance, the position is also responsible for ensuring safe work practices are achieved at all times and that company policies and practices are adhered to.

We have opportunities available across both Day and Afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

• Mechanical fitting trade.
• Machining experience.
• Basic welding experience.
• HRWL for fork lift, EWP, CSE, basic rigging/dogman.
• Computer literate and familiar with Maintenance Management systems.
