AddressOur client is seeking a full-time, permanent, Mechanical Fitter for repairs and maintenance to Fixed Plant and site infrastructure in Malaga. This role will also require 3 - 4 days per month visiting remote mine sites.

About the opportunity
The successful candidate will join the Mechanical Fitter team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Performing repairs and maintenance to machinery
- Providing high level diagnostics and fault finding on Fixed Plant and infrastructure equipment (e.g. roller presses and other mining equipment)
- Attending to diagnostics of breakdowns
- Scheduled maintenance, installations and updates
- Fault finding and repairing diverse hydraulic systems
- Manufacturing of various parts at the Malaga workshop
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work independently and as part of a team.
- Full training provided
- Qualified Mechanical fitter
- Experience in a similar role – desirable
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to diagnose breakdowns in machinery
- Driver's license - essential
- Forklift ticket - desirable, training can be provided.
