AddressDowner’s Industrial & Energy business are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join an exciting Integrated Gas project in the Surat Basin Region in Queensland. As a Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter, with Poly Welding experience, you will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Tasks and duties will include, but are not limited to, isometrics, piping and instrument design, Flange Management, threading piping and Hydro testing. You will need to understand what is needed and be able to develop and implement plans.

- Site based role in Roma with 18 days on 10 days off roster

ABOUT YOU
- Trade qualified Fitter and certified to weld PMBWELD301 (Butt weld polyethylene) and PMBWELD302 (Electrofusion weld polyethylene)
- Strong heavy industrial background, with previous Oil & Gas knowledge
- Ability to read isometrics & P&ID’s (Essential)
- Hold a Construction Induction/White Card, EWP and Working at Heights
- MR or HR licence would be highly desirable, as would a forklift ticket
- Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Good communication skills, strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as a part of a team
