The role executes across a broad range of maintenance activities & processes, in accordance with established policies and procedures that align to the production & operational targets for each assigned area.

Role Overview
The role of the Mechanical Fitteris to support the maintenance team, production and the business by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the deployment of new plant and machinery. This position will operate out of our Cambridge production mill, which operates 24/7.
This position will be ongoing permanent for the right person and is a is a hands-on role for a dedicated can-do team member to join our experienced team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this opportunity will see you:
- Install, fabricate, maintain plant machinery and equipment
- Maintain workshop and parts
- Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults, production breakdowns and production start-ups
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Essential
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a tradesperson in maintenance advantageous but not necessary.
- Additional trade qualifications
- Demonstrated high level of safety behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of independence, maturity and initiative
- Proven ability to priorities and manage workloads efficiently and demonstrate flexibility in handling changing priorities
- Rotating on-call roster
Desirable
- Experience in an FMCG environment or with automation, steam or gas appliances
- Forklift / EWP License
- Restricted Electrical License
- Welding experience
- Drivers License
