Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, repair, routine maintenance and fault finding of shipboard machinery including material handling systems.
- Maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and operating systems essential for propulsion, power generation, auxiliary machinery and material handling systems while adhering to stringent safety and environmental standards
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, breakdowns and testing.
- Supervise contractors and provide guidance during shutdown periods.
What is required:
- Demonstrated safety commitment
- Working knowledge on carrying out maintenance of material handling systems on floating marine assets.(desirable)
- Working knowledge of marine engines and auxiliary machinery.
- WA recognised fitter trade certificate
- MSIC
- Seagoing certificates (desirable)
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Confined Space with Gas Testing
- Working at Heights
- National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
