AddressQuarry & Mining Manufacture (QMM) is a subsidiary of Tasmea Limited and offers a comprehensive range of design, manufacture, fabrication and maintenance services to the construction materials (concrete, quarrying, cement, asphalt), mining, minerals, infrastructure, recycling and metals refining sectors.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to become a part of our team in our Site Services Department. Reporting to our Site Services Manager, your role will include (but not limited to):
- Fixed plant maintenance, conveyers, shoots etc.
- Build or repair fixed plant machinery and equipment.
- Interpreting technical drawings
The successful applicant will have:
- Certificate III including at least 2 years of on-the-job training or Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Current Confined Space Entry (within 2 years).
- Current Working at Heights (within 2 years).
- EWP Ticket (advantageous)
- Work under pressure.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Safety, Health & Environment awareness, and experience.
All candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol tests as part of the recruitment process.
