What you will be doing:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, crushers, and other refinery machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize production interruptions.
- Install, assemble, and disassemble mechanical components as required.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to plan and execute maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Certificate with post-trade experience.
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work well in a team.
