Your opportunity
As the Mechanical Fitter you will ensure the effective day to day operation, maintenance and monitoring of Pumping Stations and Wastewater Treatment Plants across Redland City. You will work as part of a team while maintaining a harmonious and productive workplace.
Guided by our you will also:
- Be responsible for implementing and complying with Council's Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Protection requirements.
- Provide accurate technical advice and knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor SCADA and Telemetry Systems.
- Undertake various administration functions.

- Experience operating, maintaining and repairing Pump Stations and Wastewater Treatment Plants in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
- Knowledge of environmental issues, practices and legal requirements relevant to the environmental impacts of the onsite operations.
- The ability to perform a variety of administrative functions where you will be required to use a computer.

Eligibility
- You'll have a current MR (or above) Class Drivers' Licence.
- You will be available to perform after hours work on an on-call or call-out basis.
- You will have the ability to attain and maintain Confined Space Ticket.
- To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
