We are currently seeking a permanent Full-time Mechanical Fitter who is reliable and experienced, who will bring their experience and positive approach to contribute to our future success.
This role will mainly be 98% based at our client in Botany.
About you:
- To carry out manual milling and turning activities on various materials including steels, alloys, plastics – often prototype work.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and isometrics to produce parts.
- Fitting a wide range of mechanical components (motors, bearings, actuators etc.)
- Pneumatic component fitting and plumbing.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and rectify to ensure clients machines are up and running in a timely manner.
- Completing all work with a high attention to detail meeting required tolerances and company aesthetics
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean, tidy and equipment is maintained to company requirements
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff.
- Have a professional attitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow safe work practices.
- Currently holds an Australian Citizen or Permanent Residence
- Must have trade Australian qualifications.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- A great attitude and passion for their work!
