About the Role:
RED Appointments has a longstanding relationship with one of Australia's biggest mining contractors. Located in Moomba, our client requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitters. Major projects working alongside Santos including conversions and commissioning of Turbines and Compressors, and Preservation of Facility Equipment including Motors, Pumps, Valves, Pipes and Fittings.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to succeed and hold the following skills/ tickets/ background:
• Oil and Gas industry experience
• Experience with Turbines / Compressor overhauls, conversions and commissioning
• Working at Heights & Gas Test Atmospheres
• Previous remote work experience
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Ability to pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
