About the opportunity
As our Pump Technician, you’ll be responsible for stripping, assessing and rebuilding our range of submersible pumps. We’re looking for a mechanically minded technician with a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a great work ethic.
There is the potential for significant career growth within this position for the right candidate with clear and exciting pathways for advancement.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues and proposing effective solutions
- Delivering pump solutions to a diverse range of clients
- Hands-on disassembling, repairing and reassembling pumps to ensure they are in optimal working condition
- Documenting maintenance activities and creating reports for future reference
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- A mechanical trade qualification
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering
- A valid South Australia driver licence (or be willing to obtain one)
- Have current Australian working rights
It’s not a deal breaker, but we’d also love to see some of the following:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with pumps (or the adaptability and willingness to learn)
- A commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organised workplace
- A Forklift Ticket
- Restricted electrical licence or electrical trade qualification
