We have a variety of attractive rosters available, on a variety of customer sites as well as Hobart based.
About the role
You will be responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and timely product and technical support services and advice to our Mining Division’s customers. In addition, you will be responsible for the compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services to the Division’s customer base. You will also be responsible for the management of customer relationships at site level.
Duties
- Inspect plant and equipment for conformity
- Request required spare parts
- Operate workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment
- Diagnose faults of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Diagnose and rectify minor electrical faults
- Repair damaged or faulty parts
- Lubricate plant and equipment
- Provide adjustments to mechanical equipment
Skills and Experience
- Applicable trade qualification essential
- Large excavator/haul truck experience is desirable
- Mining equipment experience is desirable
- High Risk Licence LF & DG & EWP
- Working at Heights certificate
