Mechanical Piping Superintendent - Kwinana Location
Piping Superintendent required for our client a leading infrastructure and Construction Services provider for their waste to energy project. 16th January, 2024 AAMG have been engaged by our client partner to find a Mechanical Piping Superintendent for their Waste to Energy Project located in Rockingham within the Kwinana Industrial area.
The new Waste to Energy processing facility will process 300,000 tonnes per year of residual waste from non- recyclable materials in the Perth metropolitan area to deliver 29MW of baseload electricity capacity enough to power over 36,000 homes. Role Requirements
You will be an experienced Superintendent or Senior Supervisors (Piping)
Experience working on a large-scale processing plant or similar in the same role
Experience in testing
Managing and driving completions and punch listing crew
Well-honed project planning and scheduling skills
Strong leadership qualities - know how to lead a team and a project

Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the construction and Installation of pipelines and ducting components on site.
Establish and maintain appropriate and mutual relationship with their respective Company representatives having high regard to customer satisfaction and full compliance to the Contract document.
Conduct regular workplace audits and inspections, actively participate in leadership engagement initiatives and meet monthly to discuss, generate and refresh HSES initiatives.
Will meet weekly and communicate outcomes and close out actions with their respective teams.
Clearly define and communicate all roles, responsibilities and performance targets for their direct reports.
Review and update the project resource plans and schedules for all resources, including staff, wages, plant, subcontracts, materials, small tools and consumables, on a weekly basis at a 12 week look-ahead.
Directs and controls construction activities to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met.
Review and provide input to the construction programme and completion schedule and delegates activities for the day-to-day direction of field schedule requirements.
Delegate functional responsibility to all supervisory and wages including subcontractors for frontline HSE, Quality and Industrial Relations requirements.
Establish and maintain effective communications with the Company's representative, Project Manager and field staff through discussion and direct communications.
Report regularly on staff and construction issues and concerns.
Ensure any workplace grievances are resolved at the supervisory level, wherever possible and in a timely fashion.
Ensure all Supervision receive required training and certification as required under the Contract.
Be accountable for all day works to be recorded accurately and signed off by client.
Prepare Quotations and project budgets for small works.
Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
