SalaryOur client is a leading Electrical and Mechanical Engineering company, who provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services to clients across multiple industries including concrete, brickworks, waste management, and food and beverages.
As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their head office team in Sydney on a full-time basis.
They have a huge pipeline of works for ongoing projects, where you would be responsible for working across various schemes, managing installations, regular maintenance and shift cover, regional and interstate work, shutdown work, breakdown call outs, and their workshop.
Responsibilities
- Determine and define project scope of works and objectives
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Prepare quotes, keep track of project costs and manage budgets
- Develop and manage project schedule and work plan
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Determine troubleshooting solutions when required to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime
You MUST be Trade qualified in Fabrication or Mechanical AND have 5-8 years project management experience.
